Want to run recovery CD, but don't want to lose pictures, if I buy extra Hard Drive and move pictures to new hard drive , will the recovery CD wipe it out?
No it won't, you will only be recovering the first drive, I use a 2nd drive just for this, for when I need to reformat, I keep all of my media/updates that i've downloaded.
