Help - Gigabyte GA7VAXP - What Did I Do Wrong?

I recently built my first system and well... I thought I did everything right. I have to admit Gigabyte isn't the most detailed whrn it comes to installing a motherboard especially for a us newbies. Anyways when I reboot a get a few screens before windows loads.
Screen One is about system health and hadware I have installed.
Screen Two is for detecting something..what I'm not sure.
Screen Three gives me a message about BIOS not installed.

Anyone have an idea what I messed up on?

I have a few questions

1. Does it have a OS installed?
2. What does the screens say?
3. What kindof hardware such as PCI cards and such do you have?

I have Windows XP installed, Amd 2200 chip, audigy sound card, Maxtor 80 gig hard drive 7200 rpm, Toshiba dvd player, lite on cdrw,Pny ti 4200 video card, logitech 540 speakers, logitech wireless keyboard.
Everything runs ok...Its just on start up I have 5 screens appear before my desktop appears.
Most of them appear fast and are gone. The first one is Gigabyte showing what drives I have and system health.
The next one goes real fast...something about serial ata 133 drivers not installed.
The third one is something about S. M. A. R. T. a chart also appears but is gone fast.
Fourth page is about Promise and it is detecting then goes to the welcome page.

Its just I have the feeling when I installed the motherboard I may have missed a step installing software.

Can I go back and start over or will it wipe out everything I have done?

sounds like normal startup to me. Are you having problems?

No... no problems running anything, just a friend has the same motherboard and it doesn't go through all those pages like mine does.

There are some settings you can adjust on bios but they will affect performance very little. S.M.A.R.T.D.R.I.V.E. is one of them if it is not enabled you will sometimes get a screen telling you. You can go into Bios and enable it if you want to.
