YAY! I got my motherboard today (Asus A7N8X) and it's up and running.

I downloaded memtest86 to test for memory problems as I heard this board has memory issues.

I let it run for an hour and no errors were found, but how long does the entire test take?

Depends on how many of the tests you run. If you run them all, let it run overnight. If it's still running in the morning, it is looping and the memory is okay.

Have you tried Microsoft's new memory test program? I've heard it's faster. The screens look about the same to me.

are you having any problems right now? your best bet is to run some programs, do your usual stuff and see if you run into any problems

Is the Pass number the number of times it has looped?

I haven't head of Microsoft's memory test program.

I'm not having problems yet. But when I tried to boot into my original Win XP install, it would bluescreen. It boots fine now with a fresh install though.
