Annoying Restarts

My computer has been having this problem for about 8 months, it's like no matter what i do it keeps on restarting. I have replaced the mother board, the video card, the cd-rw drive and the floppy but for some reason my comp is still being a jerk about it. When i reformat everything with xp or 2000, it takes about a week when it starts to act up when i put in a cd for a game or something, most of the time it reacts to my diablo 2 install cd. Even after that i click on my pictures or music even internet and boom, restarts, when i decide to turn it off and on again it does this stupid blinking lights on my cd drives and it stays that way for half an hour then it loads and restarts again, now i can't even reformat becuase it restarts even when i want to erase anything so if anyone knows what is going on plz let me know.

Go to Control Panel->System->Advanced Tab, then click settings under Startup and Recovery and uncheck Automatic Reboot. (That is if your running XP right now) If that doesn't solve the problem then it could be a faulty power supply.

**Edit**

Woah, after re-reading this I have no idea what the problem could be :P. Just try what I suggested, if that doesn't work then I have no idea :P.

It could be your RAM doing this. I suggest you download Memtest86 and test your RAM to rule that out as a possible cause.

Go ahead and give that a try. It will take a few hours to run, but it is worth it in the troubleshooting long run
