Kids Compatible ram for Asus A7N8X-dlx?

I'm most likely getting a a7n8x-dlx soon. I just have generic pc2100 ram right now and am getting a 2500 (barton) or 2600 (both 333 fsb) processor. As you may have guessed I want 333 fsb (pc2700) thats compatible with the asus a7n8x-dlx board. Kingston, Crucial, Samsung?

Thanks

I'm sure 512mb of Corsair XMS PC2700 works fine...but PC3200 of it doesn't. By doesn't I mean if you ever have to reset your CMOS, you'll have to put in some other RAM to boot and change your CAS latency.

well i want to go dual channel DDR (is that what it's called?). and im thinking two 256mb sticks of pc2700. im looking for cheap memory but as u know, the cheapest memory is usually generic or off brand.

crucial memory is pretty cheap as viking, can anybody confirm these?

Crucial is cheap, but it's also very good RAM. I'll recommend them if you want to keep the system on a low budget.

I'm with Xtreeme......I've got 512 mb Kingston Value ram PC3200 with mine and no problems at all, but last I knew, it wasn't listed on Asus' website as compatable (at least not the 512 mb sticks) but I haven't had any problems running it......
