How do you configure a laptop so you can have a "home" network config, a "local" (undocked) config and the potential for a customer's network config and still have them all use the same user profile?
I assume you wish to log on to a domain at each of these places? If not, the profile should always remain the same. You just log on to the laptop itself.

As long as you log onto XP once while on the domain, it should allow you to log in with cached credentials when the Domain DC is not available (ie: at home). I commonly do this with XP.
