Drop down links

Hi guys/gals, I am designing a page for a friend. He wants drop down menus (like on www.aim.com ) I'm thinking of using CSS or javascript (whichever would be easier). I have no knowledge of programming in either of these two languages. Anyone have a script that they'd be willing to lend? or could someone help me do it? basically he wants a menu that when you mouse over it, it will drop down a list of other links, and when you take the cursor away from it, the menu hides.

Any help would be appreciated.

i have an idea

Hey how's it going?

I see that you have received no replies... so I have an idea but it's a bit more difficult, maybe...

I am pretty good with "Flash" (for more info check out http://www.macromedia.com )

If you haven't found out a way to do the dropped down menues, I could show you or do it for you.

It's not css or java... it's "Flash"

Sorry, the best I can do for right now. Let me know on your progress, because I could probably find out for you if you don't like my Flash idea. I think Flash would be better anyways. Well, whatever, it's up to you.

If you have MSN add me chris17de@hotmail.com or e-mail me.

If you want to see an example of "Flash", check out a website I did for a group that plays an Internet Game... http://www.si-games.com/tact/

Hey, thanks for the flash idea. I've been thinking about using flash as the last resource, but fortunately I was able to find a free css drop down menu....very easy to edit into custom pages.

Thanks anyways
