if i had 3DSMax 5, id give you those cab files, but i have 4.2.. [and hate it.]

the "company that makes this" is known as discreet, and they are the biggest bunch of tightwads you ever saw. you can buy their software, but you cannot sell it or even give it away, ever, or they can sue you for "damages"

It wouldn't matter if someone gave him the cab files as 3DS uses CDilla license program which has a heart attack if anything goes wrong [i.e. corrupted cabs] I had this once, but i just got good ones off the cd. but if your cd is scratched... whoooo.

you have about ZERO chance of getting help from discreets "auto desk" which interestingly enough.. is completely automated.

Hm. Auto Desk is the company that makes AutoCad. Think they own Discreet(Kinetix) as well?

Yes. 3D Studio is Autodesk.
