cd and sound problem

I noticed a week ago that whenever I try to listen to any music cds that they play in super slow motion and then after that all of my sounds were in slow motion, any idea what the problem is? I have tried restarting and I still get the problem. This happens on both of my cd drives. I built this computer and it is brand new, I have no idea what the problem is.

Could be a sound driver issue, are you using a sound card or is it onboard?

Do the all windows sounds sound delayed when you DO NOT have a cd in the drive, or is it just when playing music off a cd that they are all delayed?

It is a onboard. The sound is fine until I put in a cd to listen to. The music will be in slowmo and then all my sounds on the computer will be in slowmo until I restart the computer
