BF:1942 Sound files?

How can I access these? I want to play around w/ them in a sampler.

I don't think you can as they are not wav files, rather yet they are implemented into the rfa files. To get the sounds you would have to use an outside recording box connected to your sound card, and just play the game and record the sounds that way.

I know in RTCW you can use winrar or something like that to unzip the sound files. I would think you can do the same here.

sucessfully altered sounds, if possible, will only be heard by you on your machine and not other players unless some new technology exists I havent heard of......heheh. I think in the new BF Vietnam game I read they are flirting with this type of technology. I dont know how realistic that is though. Probably not likely. Lemme know if you find a way to change/alter them MC.

All i know of gettin sound from BF1942 is by useing an outside recording hard ware that is connected to your outpu on the soundcard. Ask UJ, he can tell you want you need and how to do it. He did it with i think the game DOD.

Or you can buy fraps 2 and just take the sound of the video file with a program like virtualdub.

The sounds are frickn hilarious!
