help ahhhhhh!!!! quick

im stupid ... I was tyring to figure out which hd is which I was gonna unplug the hd with all my data for the mandrake installation so i dont accidentally format it ..... anyway I finally figure out which is which and I booted up and it said hd's not found (i have two) .... so , im thinking it was proly the power thingy, i had the wrong one, lol .... anyway have way threw the mandrake installation it says "no hd found" .... and I see the wire I was missing, anyway heres the problem errrrr.... The power white wire that goes on the big pegs (:S) and I pulled it while the pc weas on ... saw sparks then everything is off ... lol ...... try booting up and i get no response ................... !!deleted ............ gthe only thing i can think of is to take the battery out of the mobo and put it back in 10 mins later? I dont know but im pretty screwed here HELP

Understood you have a problem, but I highly suggest editing your post for the language.

If you have the HD's setup incorrectly as slave/master the mobo will not detect the drives.. that would be the first place to check. Also make sure there are no burn marks around the wire you ( ) unplugged while the PC was on

did that .... errr well I popped out the mobo chip tried putting it back in and still nothing ..............

you may have killed the mobo

if you have access to another machine you can put your individual componets in there one at a time to see what works and what is, well you know............

I'm glad this seems funny to you. What made you think you can just unplug things and re-attach them with the power on? Come on now! For whats its worth I had a bone head tech at my lab short the +12V and Ground (some how... still have not got the entire story there) but there was sparks and smoke, but after the smoke cleared everything stiill worked. Hopefully yours will too.
