Computer Freezes along with a buzzing sound from the speakers
ok when my sister plays her dvd some time the computer freezes and it has a buzzing sound on the speaker i dont no what it could be and it didnt do it till we got a new hard drive and got windows xpand we got a new sound card and we got two fans on it
she is using windvd and the system is a pentium 3 1ghz is it a gateway performance 1000 and the power supply is a 200 watt

download the latest versio of DirectX from Microsoft.com

Might fix it, might not..

also, get the latest drivers for your card, and latest version of windvd.

uhhh, thought about it, becasue you said that you installed a new hard drive and sound card, and you might just be overloading it when you watch the movie for a while...

I would try those things first becasue: their faster, easier and free!

BTW, do any other weird things happen on your computer, seemingly randomly?
