Take a look and please tell me there is a better way.
I have been working on this for about two weeks. I was thinking I would just get photoshop and all probs solved but I have found it a bit more difficult to learn. You see my banner the way I did it was I draged the back ground into photoshop then called it layer one then I draged the logo in and called it layer two but that did not work so I draged the logo on top of the first layer and zoomed in to 1400% and started to use the eraser to get rid of the white around it. But there must be a quicker way judging by what I have seen. As you can see there is still some white I can not get rid of.??
Wouldn't it be easiest to just recreate your logo there on a transparent background then place it over your image.
I'm in a generous mood (which you should be thankful for considering the discussion I just had with someone),...anyways here's it is as a psd file (made with vector shapes): http://outtie.home.comcast.net/tenneymtn.psd
