Hi Guys I recently got Broadband in and set it up (poorly it would seem). Its a cable 128K service and it appears to be working okay apart from when I run the diagnostic utility software which came with the installation disc. When I run the test to see if the connections okay the message your computer is not configured properly come up on further investigation I get
'Install or reconfigure your NIC and/or TCP/ IP stack. Use the Repair module to check your settings and to obtain a new IP address.'
I've tried reinstalling the installation software again but no matter what I do I cant seem to get it to pass this test.
The cable company support team are not the easiest people to get hold of. Any ideas?!!!
