DOD hack frequency

What do you think the overall commoness of hacks is in DOD, Cstrike, and other half-life mods? It seems to me lately that there are way too many people doing impossible head shots and stuff from miles away and its deleted me off... I wish people would get lives.

Have you noticed a trend towards more hacks and cheats?

i have in counter-strike. it actually got really bad with 1.4, but when 1.5 came out it took what seemed like an abnormal amount of time to get the new cheats out...it was great, for a while. then the cheats returned. i would say maybe 1 in 30 cs players cheat...just a guess tho

I haven't really noticed people cheating in DoD tho. i've only seen maybe 2 or 3 cheaters ever and i play all the time. although it could just be the nature of the game since a single shot from most weapons kills if it's a head, chest, or gut shot.

In DoD it's really easy to spot cheaters, and they're aren't a lot of them

In my whole 2 years of playing the mod, i've seen about 10.

The cheaters are the people who run right past you, in the opposite direction, turn around a full 360 degree's and shooting you in the face whilst doing it.

Luckily, i've befriended some of the admins at some servers, so they usually get banned within a few days.

CS? That game was design for hacks. In my opinion, the game is now obsolete, too many bugs, too many cheaters.

Anytime you bring out a game, lozers will hack it. CS isnt that bad, depending on the server. C'mon, the games been out so long people will get good at it. What annoys me is when Im doing good and people accuse me of cheating. When ya play long enough, ya get good. duh.
