Blue text after defrag and disk cleanup

Yesterday I defragged and did disk cleanup on my hard drive. Now a lot of files have the title colored blue instead of black. What is the reason for this? Thanks.

How 'bout some more info? It's not real clear what the problem is.

If you're in XP, the blue files mean it has been compressed to save space. This will slow down your access to these files and directories, but will give you more disk space. Its a better way of doing it (IMO) to when you had to compress the whole drive with Stacker or Doublespace.

Look in folder options->view to show encryp and compressed files in different color.

"Specifies that the names of files you compress or encrypt on NTFS drives appear in a color when you view them in a folder window. This does not apply to folders you compress using ZIP compression utilities."
