Red X (again)

Hello all,
I tried the search, but found nothing that would help.



Ok, about 2 weeks ago I formatted and did a fresh install of XP Pro. I ran through the usual updates and such and I still get red x's on web pages. And on some other web pages most of it will load up, but where there might be a banner or something of that sort, it gives me the "page cannot be displayed error" even though I can see most of the page.

I installed the Java plug in and still have had no luck resolving this issue. I tried right clicking>show picture and it does nothing.

If I forgot to include any more useful/helpful info let me know and I will try to provide it.

what websites? are the pictures turned on? Maybe your cookie control is not letting you see them.

Mostly forums and such. I have MSN as my home page and I have 3 red x's right around the search. If I go to AOL's homepage, on the right side I get the page cannot be displayed error.

Most of the time the pics are on a forum. At first I thought it might be a issue with the place the pics are hosted, but others can see them and I can't.

Yes the pictures are turned on and I have even lowered the cookies to the lowest setting and it still didn't make a difference.
