Up and flying! w00t!
Hmmmm, fiddled with a few settings, did a major cleanout on the HDD, and I successfully played 2 different maps last night....FUN!
Land the Bomber they say! I'm having a hard enough time FLYING the damned thing, much less be able to LAND it!
? I promptly crashed it in an attempt to land it, btw
Is there a way to fly those planes in a better view? And what do you guys use for mouse sensitivity for flying?
And what the heck is the IP address and password for our server? I NEED TO PLAY! I NEED GOOD URLS TO FIND NEW MAPS AND MODS!

first off, buy a joystick.
second off, buy a joystick.
third, buy a joystick.
Flying with mouse/keyboard is horrible, get a joystick.
The different views are F9, F10, F11, F12

Well, I've got a joystick...I've also got a USB adapter for my Dual Shock controller....I guess I'll have to look into that. Can I use both movement on the keyboard for ground control and the joystick for flying at the same time, is that what you guys do?

I use keyboard and mouse for ground movements. And joystick for driving vehicles.

I've got a joystick but I have one hell of a time figuring it out. It seems that I'm either going forward or backward, no idle. I can't seem to be able to configure it. I have this one. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....oryId=cat01064 |

I've got this one. Similar to yours, just no feedback. I'll have to give it a shot. No Idle....perhaps you need to adjust the trim on it, or give it a wider idle point in joystick movement, if it's configurable.
I'll give it a whirl tonight and see how it goes.

planes in Battlefield 1942 Prex. Just have a tendancy to get my butt handed to me by myself
I tried a couple of flight sims...sorry, that's just more than my synapses can handle.

Same here, 1942. I've gotten a lot better at mouse/kb flying out of desperation. |
