Event id 25 eror

Can soneone plese tell me why i am constantly getting an event 1d. 25 in the event logs.
User configuration for parameter Serial1 must have PortAddress.
i have seen some posts around the web , but havent found a fix

I mean a device that may be a serial device. Uses a serial port. But for some reason the address of the device is not defined.

there are 3 com ports
1,2,3 and all functioning

I don't know. Do you have the latest Service pack? For some reason your system is confused about a serial port. Check the device manager for errors. I'm surprised the MS article didn't fix the problem.
