ECS P4VMM2 (No Power)
Hey guys, brand new to the board.
anyhow i have a problem and im hoping someone can help me out
Today a bought a few parts to assemble a box in my room because my linux box is VASTLY outdated... VASTLY (233mhz mmx)
I ran out and picked up
Mainboard: ECS P4VMM2
Chipset: Intel Celeron 2.2ghz
Memory: 256 mb DDR (333mhz bus)
Casing: 17' ATX , usb tower (with the usb panel on the front)
I hooked up everything and looking over the manual which i found almost useless (too many things marked wrong) i decided to start the system....
No Power...
So i searched the web for some answers and saw a thread a while back for the same board. I Tried switching the jumper on the BIOS but realized that it was already on "Normal" rather than the problematic setting "Clear Bios"
Interesting enough, the board is getting power, the fan tries to turn over for Milliseconds and fails as i try to power it up.
any suggestions?
Thank you
