Systems Mandrake 9.1 can't be installed

When I start the computer with the Mandrake CD in the drive, it asks if I want to install/upgrade Mandrake or more options. I'll hit enter to install then the computer just hangs. The screen goes black (but stays on like it's getting a signal), the hard drive light and CD drive lights are both off meaning nothing is happening, the Caps Lock and Scroll Lock lights are flashing on the keyboard and the keyboard doesn't respond.

I've burned the install CD twice and both CDs do the same thing. wtf is wrong with it?

Take a look HERE. There's also a link for a "windows version" if you are downloading and burning in Windows.

Besides verifying your Md5 sums, make sure you scale down you write speed when copying your ISO images. I had to write at 16x in Alcohol 120 to get good CD's. It might take a bit longer, but, in the end, it saves you from making allot of coasters. Hope you get it figured out!

Ok I redownloaded then reburned all 3 iso files and now it works. This new mandrake looks great, much easier to configure than 8.2 was .
