Convert streaming audio to MP3 or WMA
Howdy all,
What is the easiest way to convert a streaming audio (.asx file) to MP3 or WMA? I am looking at doing this daily for an audio program I listen to. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
RADAR

Yeah, that was what I was afraid of. Unfortunately that means I a spend about 2 and half hours a day doing the conversion.

there may be a plug in or option in winamp to convert automatically to mp3 while playing streaming audio.

Look for program called ASFRecorder. It'll capture asf/asx files to your hard disk.
I use it occasionally. It doesn't always work, but most of the time it does.

| Total Recorder or Super Mp3 Pro Recorder will work just fine for what you are trying to do. I would check both of them out.
Super Mp3 Pro Recorder records directly as a .mp3 file so no encoding from .wav to .mp3 is necessary. You can even set the mp3 bitrate to record at . |
