I was searching the web for articles about 2K vs XP (Windows, not processors) and I found this charts about AMD vs Pentium, lol.
Im impressed that AMD still beats Intel pretty bad using lower GHZ in its processors. Personally im an AMD fan and I use their processors (Right now I use an AMD Athlon XP 2000+)
But mostly AMD fans have to deal with all-day noobs, ppl that dont know that much as we from this forum about computers. Its a pain they think they know a lot, ask you what PC you have, you tell him AMD, he says "What crap is that?!" And they tell you that they use Intel P4 the most expensive in the market but inside you know (or the AMD fans) that AMD beats Intel up-side-down badly in both speed and power.
Before using AMD I was one of those noobs. I didnt know AMD, I was stuck in the "Intel world" with a P3 when I could save the bucks and bought a Athlon that would beat the P3.
I remember when I started with AMD, I went to their site in amd.com and they explained how their PCs worked in a sort of funny story. I still remember it:
That day two guys that were friends were going to fish in the lake. They didnt see it in the beginning but after 1 hour they saw that the boat had a hole and the water was comming in to the boat and they knew that in a short period of time the boat was going to be underwater. So they had both two (dont remember the name of the thing
, think it is sink...) sinks with them fortunately so they started with their sinks takin the water out from the boat. One of the guys did it much faster than the other (This would be Intel
) BUT the other guy had a bigger sink so the 2nd guy took almost the same amount of water out of the boat with less strength and sweat used than the 1st guy.
This is only a story from AMD telling how their processors work. Of course they didnt use the names of their "enemies" Intel, but you get the point. But im sure that these arent the only ones that show how AMD beat Intel. Hopefully

most of this forum are AMD fans
