Yes, the card has more memory (RAM). MB= megabytes which is the unit describing the amount of memory.

Yes, if the RAM in the card goes bad, you must buy a new card. This is rare, though. The RAM in a video card is not replacable, for all intents and purposes.

I think you're confused soulja.

What exactly do you mean? Drain?

A video card and whatever ram it has is always good as long as the card works. I have video cards that are 10 years old that still work. Ram doesn't "drain", and rarely if ever does it simply go bad.

If you clrearly[ explain exactly what you mean, then maybe someone can answer your question.

ok so it doesn't drain, thats all really i needed to know, cause some of my friends told me that same thing

RAM doesn't drain. It is a reusable part of the card and the RAM is volatile, meaning once power is cut to the RAM it is emptied and the system is free to use all of it once power is reapplied.

Are you having video card problems? If so, tell us the symptoms and we may be able to help.
