Genome Canvas Path
Uhh...yea so after I install linux I got this error all over the screen and so I pull out the hard drive and formatted it then did installed linux again. The error came back but after the first reboot it seems to be working. I just want to know if this will be a problem or if anyone knows about some error like this?

Now since this has happened Linux takes for ever to boot up just sits there flashing its underscore then says GRUB Loading Stage 2... then a min later everything loads. I dont think it should take this long is there something messed up?

hello,
i am not sure what Genome Canvas Path is - but your issue sounds like it is looking for somthing that it tyhinks should e there - what kind of hardware?

Its an old Compaq with a P2 450 and ATI Rage videocard and a 11 gig hard drive umm Im not too sure what else is in there like the mother board.
