i just went to the klipsch website and found out that they are releasing some mighty nice speakers.
it is called the klipsch ultra 5.1 - and it builds on its predecessor - the promedia 5.1.
the sats are redesigned and look much more aesthetically pleasing with a cleaner design, new stands and silver woofers.
also redesigned is the subwoofer - it is much larger than the old 5.1 sub - with new long-throw dual 8" woofers and a 20% larger mdf box.
the system features a new crossover network and a lower-tuned subwoofer.
if i were looking for a new system - i would definitely wait for these guys to come out and BUY them.
but alas, my system is done and although the newer sub runs miles around my klipsch 4.1 - it still doesnt hold a candle to my real pc sub.
watch out logitech 680!
of course, i dont know how much these are going to cost - im gonna be very surprised if it costs more than 400.
