Opinions on Samsung 19" 955DF Monitor

Does anyone have this monitor already and if so what do you think for this price + 3year warranty & free shipping? Is this monitor worth my time? I don't plan on buying another monitor for a few years and am concerned on its gaming performance mainly. I read the reviews at newegg. Just thought I would get some opinions here before I made a final decision. Click me for link

Thanks, sKiT

Looks okay as long as you dont want to play in 1600x1200.

It doesn't say whether it's Aperture Grill or Shadow Mask, but people seem to like it. You shouldn't be disappointed.

I like playing in 1600x1200. Then I dont have to use FSAA.

These were selling pretty cheap a few months ago. Like in the $150 to $175 range after coupons/rebates I think. Everyone back then said they were great.

I use a GF3 64MB and the games I play I cant run in 1600x1200 anyway. I wouldn't get the fps I would like. What's that resolution have to do with FSAA btw?

I've got one that I've had for a year or so and I really like it. Definitely a nice monitor. I also play it with 1600x1200 with AA 2x with Quake3 and I have no problems with it. I'm using a GF3 Ti200 with 128mb of RAM.

I've had mine for about 2 years now. And its still going strong.

By the way, Samsung uses Shadow mask.

Shadow Mask?, anyone care to elaborate on types of mask, masking? I'm somewhat clueless when it comes to this term. It hasnt been in any of the monitor buying guides I've read. Is that the method of creating black colors?

P.S. Thanks for all the input here. I will purchase this monitor some time this week if I like what I hear about shadow mask.
