I need to know hot to fix this problem thank u.

System Specs:
shuttle ak32 v2.1 motherboard
auth amd athlon xp 2000+
128mb pc133 (soon to be upgraded to 512mb pc 2100)
400w allied powersupply.

Thank You

Be certain that the card is fully seated in it's slot. You may need to remove and reseat it. Uninstall all the previous video drivers from your system. Setup the new video card as a standard VGA card, then install the drivers for the card. You can get them from www.nvidia.com.

Hope this helps...

And welcome to TechIMO!

Did you make sure you removed your old video drivers before installing the new card? Also make sure you download the newest drivers from NVidia.

thx for the welcome. But i made sure it was seated well (btw its huge) i tried to take a screen but it freezes everytime. Ima download the newest drivers right now and try that. Is there any speacial bios settings i need. O and when i changed the res down to 640x watever my mouse looks normal but everything else is all weird. I hope the nvidia drivers work. When i tried to install the original drivers that came with the card i had to actually open the cd and clickl on the setup to even install it because i got some error code when i used the autorun interface. Thx i appreaciate EVERYONES help. i already like these forums

I've heard that some cards aren't compatible with the motherboard and they usually freeze. Try what cyclist110 said to remove the old drivers from yer old card, and then install the new ones that came with the video card.

ok i thought the same thing that good charlotte said. MY mobo actually sucks in my opinion but i used a program to test my chipset/mobo and watnot and it all complies with the video card. I plan on buying a soltek mobo soon tho. And btw i formated my drive and got the same results. ILl try the new nvidia drivers.

Can you increase your AGP voltage in your bios? maybe by .1 or .2

Don use the drivers on the PNY cd, they will cause instability. I have the same card and had the same problem.

Remove the old video drivers and install the newest dets.

The card is huge??? It looked tiny coming from my voodoo 5.
