Operation: BF Case

I will be embarking upon a great mission soon. I want to build a battlefield 1942 case.

First off, which case do you think would work best? case 1 or case 2 . I want to paint the front black using Fusion, and gently blend it into dark green in the black. I want to add 2 seperate windows on the side using lexan. I want to etch into window BF1942, and on the 2nd window a bf tank. I also wish to put a 120mm blowhole up top (also, does a blow hole suck or blow? im guessing it blows, but just wondering.) Then possibly put an army helmet/hat on top of the blowhole (but leave the a section cut out to suck in air. (this is still in developmental stage, its still sketchy.)

So my question are, which dremel attachment do i need to use to etch? (mind that this on lexan not plexiglass, if that makes a difference). Can anyone suggest some etching techniques? Also, can someone suggest a quiet 120mm fan? And which case do you think i should get? Please offer anymore suggestion that you have, they are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Shawshank

most people make the blowholes blow air out the top since hot air rises, and you want cool air inside the comp. as for the others ?'s, i dont know, havent cut any lexan lately. keep us posted, espescially with pics

I already aimed you this. But for the high gloss cases, try sanding them down before painting.

I dunno shawhank, I think this guy's got you beat for the ultimate BF1942 computer: http://www.mini-itx.com/projects/ammobox/

Between the two cases, I'd go with case 2.

that guys a homo....who uses an ammo box? I wanna give it "the old college try" whatever that means. I think case 2 is the better option also. I wish there was army surplus store around here.

I got a .50 cal ammo box and it wasn't wide enough or tall enough to store a DVD in

England must have larger ammo boxes or something.

that was a pretty good looking mod Nighthawk; probably one of the neatest I've seen yet.

Personally, I'd go with the first case, because you can make it look MilSpec.

to be able to finance this i think i will go with the first case, i didnt realize 120mm fans were so expensive, not to mention i need a grill.
