Kids WinXP .. ' unmountable_boot_volume' ERR .. ???

Hi all..

Today after installing Lamewire (livewire) .. the computer started running real slow. LimeWire wouldnt even search. .. iMesh locked up, so i decided to just reboot.

Upon rebooting.. i was taken to a screen that let me select between 3 safemodes.. Original Config (no problems) .. and Regular.

I try ALL of these, and im taken to the same screen that says a hardware or software error has caused windows to not start correctly. It says ' UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME ' and then read that I could turn off my BIOS cache and shadowing if it persisted.. then gave this as the Technical Info

*** STOP: 0x000000ED (0x81b8a030, 0x000009c, 0x0000000, 0x0000000)

Im in a loop with this screen..

I tried to boot off CD ROM and when i was finaly taken to all my partitions, it shows the C: with 30,078MB total 30,076MB avail ..... but the other 4 show atleast 5g of use...

Im at a loss.. is there a way i can 'repair' this thru the repair console? if so, what do i type in the C:\ Prompt..

THANKS for any help..
