Best Mouse??
I am in need of a new mouse and I wonder what is a good mouse to buy. I prefer 5 buttons, only because I am used to it with IE goind Back/Forth, and it must be optical. What is a good mouse with these features and can be used for gaming and especially precision image editing?

personally i really like the MS Intellimouse explorer (the one with both side buttons on one side). it's been great for me (i've had it about a year). i can't really comment on precision editing, but it works great for gaming.

Microsoft optical trackball. It may take a day or two to get used to, but once you do, it's great. I especially love it for gaming!

I have the logitech MX300, the simpler version of the MX310, and it works great. Those are the best corded mice. Unless as Out said, you splurge on the MX500

I like the Logitech cordless mouseman optical. It only has 3 buttons, but the wheel can be clicked as a fourth button, as well as scroll. I hate corded mice!

I have the Microsoft Optical Blue wireless. This mouse is great, has a great response for games unlike most other wirless mice, It has a great battery life and is very comfortable.
