Using nic card and wireless card?

Well, i have a wireless network, my laptop usually is just running off of its wireless card, however i have run out of ports on my router. So i was thinking of hooking an older pc up thru the nic card on the laptop. however you can only set internet/networking etc thru 1 card at a time, is there a way i can make this work? maybe a special program? Thanks in advance.
