WMP9 will not let me copy music?

I got new AMD Athlon comp. it came with winXP HE.
The Windows Media Player 9 on it wont let me copy music to a CD-R. I have a Samsung CD burner. The Problem is i select want song then go to copy music to CD or device. I put a CD-R in Then it will not let me check off the song i want to burn to the CD (any help is wanted)

I believe WMP 9 has all kinds of copyright protection stuff built it. Just use Nero or Easy Cd Creator if you're giogn to be doing any burning

im currently using Wizard(default) Cd Burning
i would use it but i cannot select the file since it is coming from WMP online

Can't you get around it by flipping some options in WMP9?

Like turning off "Digital Right Management", getting rid "unique IDs" and internet lookup?

Go through all the option in WMP9 and just turning off everything that limits you, your freedom to choose and any unique identifiers which either send or get info about your media.

Or you can just buy Nero Burning Rom. Didn't your burner come with a burning program?

I tried to change all options to my favor but it still wont.

It came w/ Wizard CD burning, i going to go out and Nero 5 Burning ROM will that help?
