Some Q's on my first ever Computer built by me

Alright, I have some experience with building computers because I had to take apart the one I am currently using to put it into a new case. So I'll list what I have as of right now so my questions make sence.

AMD Athlon 1900 xp+ (Going to upgrade soon)
160gb Maxtor 8 meg cache 7200 ATA/133
Ti4400 GeForce 4 (Verto PNY)
19 inch flat screen Monitor
CD-RW 32x12x48 but might get a new black combo DVD-rom and CD-RW drive.
Case
XP Pro

Getting a new Mobo, most likely the Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro SocketA.
Getting some DDR ram, and this is proalby where I need my most help.

So I would like some help on what ram I should buy, and in my manual for the HD it said that I would need a ATA/133 card to use it but the Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro SocketA had that mentioned somewhere in it's discription so will I need to get one or not?

4 x UDMA ATA 133/100/66 Bus Master IDE connectors....
This is quote off Gigabyte site...you will have no problem with Drive.
I would buy a min. of 512Mg of good 3200 DDRam.

one thing to note on that board is the dual channel memory meaning you'll be better of buying two identical sticks of memory instead of just one. looks like a nice setup tho

So will it still work to have two different types of DDR or even just one chip for a short while?

BTW I dont oc because I have no idea what i am doing when it comes to that department, and I've read a review that, that mobo doesnt allow you to oc. So that really wont be a - for myself.
