9800NP vs 9700 Pro

I can't find any comparisons on these 2 video cards on toms hardware so I was wondering if anyone could tell me which is faster. I've got to make a decision as to which to order by tomorrow morning as the card I ordered is out of stock. My system isn't going to take full advantage of either card at the moment but I'm building a new one in a couple months.

Mike

take the 9800, it wins by a small margin off the blocks, and after OC'ing, really takes off.

Thanks for asking Mike - I was also just looking for some info on the 9800 NP to compare it to the 9700 Pro.

I know all the hard core people go for the Pro versions, but you'd think there would be some reviews out there - for those of us that don't have an unlimited budget

get the 9800, in some cases it might be cheaper, and it definitely performs better.

Agreed, you could O/C it to Pro levels.
