linux hardware compatibility

it shouldnt be too long before i get linux, mandrake 8.1 and well...
i cant seem to find some of my hardware listed as compatible or not with linux, and was wondering if any of you guys may know

here is what i have:
msi ms-6156 motherboard w/onboard creative sound
intel celeron 433 slot 1 cpu
192 mb ram\ 64 nec - 128 crucial both pc100
maxtor 8.4 gig hard drive\ will be getting additional hard drive soon, type unknown
ati rage IIc agp video card
lt win modem (will be getting an external modem for linux use)
samsung syncmaster 753df monitor
interact mouse with wheel
gateway (cow box) keyboard

if any of my components wont work could you give me inexpensive alternatives that will?

Apart from your modem (some winmodems are supported though) all your hardware is 100% ready for linux.
