Missing My Network Places Icon

It's not there on the desktop. How do I get it back? I've looked in the Group Policy editor and the hide icon from desktop option is not enabled. What else can I do? Thanks.

Oops sorry, Windows 2000. There's no TweakUI or any similar programs installed

Right-click the desktop, click on Properties, then the Effects tab, and select Change Icon or Default Icon. See if that helps.
