Recording on an ATI AIW

I've got a 9700 AIW pro and have recorded some shows. A 30 minute who(really equals about 20 minutes minus the commercials) runs about 1 gigabyte. There's also many different formats I can save to, such as, Mpeg-1, Mpeg-2, and AVI. Which one is the easier format to convert to DIVX or XVID, and what program should be used? The file size is just too big to keep around.

Save it to MPEG-2, and convert to DiVX. i think you can get DiVX encoder at http://www.divx.com

Another popular program. DivX codec shuld plug into it.

If you need further help, the Multimedia and Audio section has many knowledgeable individuals in this area.

I always use DivX, myself.
