DVD Screenshot

how to take screenshots from DVD Players??

i tried it with PrintScr and GIMP and other SCreenshot programs, but it's always like a "window" to the player!

so is there a way? or is it impossible

Waddaya mean 'window to the player'?
Normal printscrn won't capture the overlay of a video, you need some other program like 'printkey' etc. that is able to capture things like that
