Kids looking for a scanner adapter

i got a scanner here that has no power adapter. its an HP scanjet 5370C and i know it needs a 24V volt adapter. i looked around pricewatch and newegg but came up empty. i know its proprietary but im looking to get it a little cheaper than buying it from HP(considering i dont know if its good or not)

anyone have a link or two? maybe doc?

Try a whole scanner for $25. This thing works pretty good.

Hi,

If you are sure of the fact that it is 24V and know if it's AC or DC you could make your own from a small transformer from Radio Shack or similar.

I wouls say all you would need is
The correct transformer
Cord and plug for the mains supply to the transformer
Cord and Plug for the transformer supply to the scanner

The small trannies I am talking about come in a variety of arrangements some even have lugs on them to mount them into machines but these can be used just as well to screw them up under the desk etc

Cheers
