Need help with Hippie 98 FTP

Even though I've put together a web site that gets a few thousand hits per day, I don't know much about computers. I've used Hippie 98 for editing my web site and upload any changes with Hippie's FTP. I must have changed something on my computer, but I can no longer update my site. I get an error message that says:

FTP Extended Error

200 Type set to 1
200 PORT command successful
550 index.html: Permission denied

Not only do I not know what that means, I don't know how to fix it, and my site is in bad need of upgrades.

It maybe something wrong with your host.. or the folder you're uploading to was changed inthe FTP client.

Check your FTP settings make sure they point to the settings your webhost requires. The error message is saying you're trying to write to a file but you do not have permission for it. SO I'm gonna guess your FTP client isn't set correctly for your particular site.

I've never used hippie so I can't help much with that.
It really depends on what your webhost requires.
