Kids Change workgroup from command prompt?

In windows 2000:

Is there anyway to boot to the command prompt and change the workgroup name from there?

I changed something I shouldn't have (the workgroup name) and now I can't get the machine to login into windows...

It used to login automatically, but now, since I changed the workgroup name it's asking for a password. It used to take the password automatically....

So the problem isn't changing the workgroup name, you need to remember the password. At this point even if you were able to change the workgroup name it, would still probably ask for a password. Did you set this pc up? Do you know the username?

Ok...yep, I contacted tech. support & they gave me the password. I went in & changed the workgroup back to what it used to be.

PROBLEM SOLVED !!!

I posted here 'cause tech support don't usually answer right away (today they did !!!)

Thanks anyway......
