i've made my desicions based on what you guys gave me info on, and i really appreciate it, i hope i picked the right items out...

i am afraid that some items might come DOA

I've just bought the basics to get the computer up and running, and will add round cables, speakers etc later on...

for the next few days, i will probably post questions i have on building the computer if you guys dont mind...

that hard drive does it have the 3 year warranty and 8 mb cache?

No problem at all, ask all the questions you want. I know tom's hardware has a few tutorials on building your own PC that it might not hurt to read over, help kill the time while your waiting a couple days for the parts =). MOre or less once you get the mobo mounted to the case w/ processor and heatsink its just plug and chug (fairly simple). Motherboard manuals help alot too in the process.

Good luck/ have fun, and dont jinx yourself saying parts might be DOA =)

GZ yes, 8mb cache and 3 year warranty

VHockey: thx for the suggestions

im still a little undecided on the giel ram tho... its like people love it or hate it.
