I have a GeForce4 MX 420 and an AcerView 76ie monitor which is capable of resolutions higher than 1600x1200. I'm using Windows 98SE with DirectX 9.0b. Up until yesterday I was using the 30.82 Detonator drivers, and the highest resolution they would allow was 1152x864. That's not as high as the monitor can go, but since I usually keep my desktop at 1152x864, that never really mattered to me. Now, I have just installed the Detonator XP 44.03 drivers, and they have brought my max resolution down to 1024x768. I have noticed in the past that Windows Media Player 9 (which I have installed) sometimes affects this (I mention this just in case it's important

).
How can I make Windows allow the resolutions that my monitor can handle?
Thanks in advance!
