What is it? And what does it actually do.
If you can provide as much detail in lamen terms.
I read the official website and dont understand crap.
Also, how much does it actually benefit ur pc?
The Nforce2 is a chipset form Nvidia. This Chipset it what I think is the best chipset out there. I dont know much about how much it really benefits your pc. But it is the best. Takes full atavantage of your cpu.

Its in direct competition with Intel chipsets and VIA chipsets if that puts in a better light.
Instead of having the Intel i823 or whatever .. you'll get NForce2

A chipset is basically components on the actual motherboard that allows the Processor/memory/AGP/PCI busses to communicate with each other... The nForce2 chipset is currently the fastest one for AMD based computers. One of the prime benifits of this chipset is that it has dual memory controllers which help increase memory bandwidth.
