HELP radeon 9700 pro core/mem speeds

help, I just bought a new computer from www.viciouspc.com, I requested a 9700 pro. It came with a sapphire 9700 pro video card. Now, I know that the stock core/mem speeds of a 9700 pro video card is supposed to be 325/310. However, when I checked the speed of my card using 3dmark03, it registered at a measly 297/290. I know it is not a 9700 np becuase the np's are at 275/270. What could be wrong with my setup? should I send the card back? I already called them and they would replace it if necessary.

Welcome to TechIMO!! Sometimes OEM companies (like Saphire) underclock the cards to save money. Or, it could be the computer builder took a 9700np and overclocked it and sold it as a pro. Your safest option is to return the card for a new one.
