Over heating video card????

What are your temps like? Everything clean of dust bunnies? Good air flow around vid card?

Just some thoughts this time of year.

I need to to clean it out, its full of dust .

i'm not sure if it's the vid card because even when it starts up before loading windows it freezes and does the same thing.

I was thinking either my HDD heatin up or my PSU screwin up, what do you think?

does it boot into safe mode and work OK, could be a driver/hardware conflict.

also the hsf may be full of dust causing big problems. Had it happen, not that I'm proud to get a puter that dirty but........

I haven't booted into safe mode , I just figured it was hardware or maybe even a virus.

doesn't really sound like a virus, but I guess about anything is possible
