Hey, I currently only have 1 side panel fan blowing air out but I have room for another fan in the back. I wanna put another fan there but should it be an another exhaust fan or one that draws air in? Also, what kind of fans do you reccomend or where can I find some good deals on fans?

the one on the side panel should be intake and the one in the back should blow out - as for where are get fans it depends what you want - if you jsut want a basic fan that spins then almost anywhere will work

you will have to consult your Caseing...

There are many different fan sizes

but ive found the most common to be the 80mm

ive picked up 80mm fans at circuit city if you dont wanna order offline and wait for shipping

and if the new fan should be intake or outtake all depends on the rest of the fans in your system

from what i have been told, usually the best config is having air blow from bottom to top and front to back... i dont know why, but that is what i am always told

The one on the side was already set to blow out when I bought the case, it came with it. Do you think I should switch it around?

Here's a link to the specs on my case.
http://www.dynapowerusa.com/html/pro...is/metis.shtml

I don't have any fan holes in the bottom or top of my case so I think it'll be hard to get it from bottom to top. If I switch the side panel fan around and make a fan in the back blow it, it should blow from front to back, right?

According to the pics on your link... you have two places for 80mm fans at the front bottom of your case. ( facing the front at the bottom)
You could put one or two fans there pulling air IN and I would turn your side fan around so it also is pulling IN air as well. Then put another fan pushing air OUT at the back under the power supply. Then that one and the power supply will exhaust the warm air.
That would be the optimal airflow for your case.

JPMiller, if you want to post pictures then you need to have those pictures hosted on a web site somewhere. Or you attach the image you post by using the normal "post reply" button, and you'll see a place in the form where you can choose the image to be attached.

Takumi8187, the best deals on fans are to just scavenge them out of old power supplies and/or other electronics. This makes them free. That's a hard deal to top.

Thanx Outpatient...and good tip on the old power supplies!
I do that one myself often...there is a local shop that sells old dead powere supplies for a dollar apiece, and I salvage several a week for fans

Takumi8187,

Consider this before you turn your side case fan around.
My case, too, came with the side fan exhausting rather than intaking. I was going to turn it around but I noticed that the side fan sits right above the CPU, HS/F. If I turn the side case fan around it and the CPU fan would be blowing into each other hindering their intended pupose so you might want to check where your CPU sits in relation to your side fan.
