sub $100 cards: 9500 np 64mb vs Ti4200 128mb

Just wondering, newegg has refurbished vid cards, and I'm looking at these two, one is $89, the other is $94. which one would play Battlefield 1942 better? WIll I notice a difference between 64 and 128mb on the 9500?

You might not notice much of a difference right now, but you will in the future as textures get bigger.

It's definitely worth the $5 more.

I think he's asking the difference between a Radeon 9500 64MB and a GeForce 4 Ti4200 128MB.

In any case, Newegg doesn't have the 9500 refurbished available anymore. The two would perform very similarly. The 9500 does have higher memory bandwidth, and more advanced pixel and vertex shader.

I would probably get whatever's cheaper OR wait until I could afford a more powerful card that definitely will not choke on some of the soon to arrive more advanced games.
