AMD XP 2400+
Seeing the post above this one....about teh barton 2500+ speeds vs a intel chipset CPU. I was just wondering what a AMD XP 2400+ chip would rate vs a P4.
I know that it runs at 2000mhz.
If my motherboard supports max of 333fsb what is the best CPU i can get for my MB Many thanks.

A 2500+ is rated to be the same or better as a 2.5Ghz P4. A 2400+ is rated to be the same or better as a 2.4Ghz P4. See the pattern?

I bet you'll be able to squeeze a whole lot more outta that puppy.
I'm think 2.3ghz, of course this depends on a number of factors such as what kind of motherboard and RAM.

That's a really sweet OC! I'm to sissy to unlock mine right now, but I will eventually. I use a CoolerMaster X-Dream HSF right now, and I think it would be up to the challenge.
